A Cold Lesson in a Cold Creek

This is a simple story. I’m not trying to turn it into some sweeping life lesson or wrap it up with a bow. If anything, it made me think more about my own idiocy than any profound takeaway.

On a recent trip up to a (purposely undisclosed) creek, I slipped on a rock and went in.
